How Equipment Supports Your Care
Equipment supports different stages of care, from examining your mouth and preparing instruments to restorative treatment.
iTero Lumina Intraoral Scanner
Creates a digital three-dimensional record of the teeth and bite for suitable treatment-planning workflows.
Digital records can support discussion and planning. Whether a scan is suitable depends on the clinical task.
B-Class Autoclave
A steam sterilizer used as part of the clinic’s instrument reprocessing workflow.
Effective infection prevention depends on cleaning, packaging, validated cycles, storage and handling as well as the equipment.
RVG Digital Imaging
A digital sensor records dental X-ray images when they are clinically indicated.
Images help assess structures that cannot be seen directly. The dentist decides whether imaging is justified for your situation.
Dental Laser
A dental laser is available for selected procedures where clinically appropriate.
Your dentist will explain whether a laser has a role, alternatives and relevant risks. It is not automatically the best option for every condition.
Supporting Equipment and Treatment Facilities
Dental Treatment Chairs
GardenCity Smiles™ has three dental chairs. This photograph shows the clinic’s treatment room.
Chair positioning supports access during examination and treatment. Tell the team about mobility or positioning needs.
Portable X-Ray Unit
A portable dental X-ray unit supports the clinic’s radiographic workflow.
Positioning and exposure are selected for the clinical question. No X-ray is completely free of radiation.
Rotary Endodontic System
Motor-driven instruments support cleaning and shaping during root canal treatment.
The system is one part of treatment. The tooth’s anatomy, infection and restoration needs determine the plan and number of visits.
Electronic Apex Locator
An electronic device helps assess working length during root canal treatment.
Measurements are interpreted alongside clinical findings and other appropriate checks.
Curing Lights
Dental curing lights are used to harden compatible light-cured restorative materials.
Correct technique, material selection and curing time are important to the restoration.
Dental Suction
The clinic’s suction system helps manage fluids during dental care.
Fluid control supports visibility and the treatment workflow.
Dental Instruments
Dental instruments are selected for the examination or procedure being performed.
The team can explain the instruments and steps involved in your care.
Magnification Loupes
Magnification supports the clinician’s view of the treatment area.
A closer view can assist careful clinical work, alongside appropriate lighting and technique.
Implant Physiodispenser
A surgical motor provides controlled speed and torque during implant procedures.
Equipment supports the procedure; suitability, planning and follow-up remain essential.
Dental Compressor
The compressor supplies air used by dental equipment.
It supports the operation of the clinic’s instruments as part of the maintained equipment system.
